Specified Complexity

In the movie Contact the hallmark of contact with intelligent beings was the reception of a message containing specifically identifiable, complex information in the form of a sequence of prime numbers. The numbers had complex order and therefore could not be generated by random chance but had to be produced by an intelligent entity. Similarly, the DNA that is in every living cell also contains specifically identifiable, complex information.
DNA contains the instruction code that governs all functions of each cell in every organism. A single strand of human DNA which is in every cell contains enough information to cover six hundred thousand pages! It is important to know about the complexity of DNA because there are two major schools of thought as to how the information in DNA came about; evolution and creation.
The theory of evolution contends in a nutshell that all life, including the specific information in DNA, arose from a chance meeting of chemicals and that mutations of this chance meeting of chemicals through several billions of years ultimately became the brain that wrote and is reading this blog.
Creation contends in a nutshell that there is an entity (God) that created everything, including the specific information in DNA.
Each of these schools of thought are fantastic to consider but a choice has to be made; evolution or creation? Which fits with what you have observed in your lifetime? Can something as complex as the computer with which you are reading this self-assemble through chance mutations of metal and plastic or did someone create it and the specific complex information in its operating system? I am quite certain that it can't and neither can complex life develop from nothing.
Each person has a choice; either there is no God and life is only a product of random chance or there is a creator that created everything.

The choice is yours
